Bremen, Indiana

Today is a very easy post.  We didn't go anywhere!  We needed to get some laundry done and some organizing so we just hung out at the campground.  I actually was feeling pretty yucky today so I took a long nap.  Dave worked around the RV and the boys home schooled and then played Frisbee, mini golf and pool.  They also pulled out their golf clubs and practiced their drives.  Tonight we enjoyed a few movies and God entertained us with a huge thunder and lightning storm.  It was awesome!
Thought of the Day:  We read all about the Amish today as part of our lesson plan.  The interesting thing about the Amish is that they simplify life by not using any of the modern day conveniences that we buy to simplify our lives. The stuff actually make our lives more complicated so we buy more stuff to help us uncomplicate from the complication. You think we would get a clue by looking at the rich and famous with all their stuff and all the complication that comes with it.  You never hear about Amish people in rehab, prison or the Jerry Springer Show.  Just a thought!

Hi guys, I just got done reading the past few log days of your trip. Wow this trip will be one the boys and you both will always remember. We really appreciate that you take the time to share your adventures with us all, it keeps us part of your lives, and we so enjoy seeing the pictures you take, and all the time you put into downloading them. Thank you so much.
Dave what a bonding experience your having spending time alone with the boys. Memories stay forever and leave lasting empressions. They will never forget this trip and there special time spent with you.
Cindi, sounds like you enjoyed Virginia, and the Springer clan at Lauren and Alan's wedding. We are so thankful you were able to go and represent Rick and me, as we were not able to be there, and it just about killed me. Sounds like the rehersal dinner went smooth and the wedding was beautiful, sorry you had to leave before the reception, having to go to work, stinks. Rick and I would not know, as we are retired Arizonians. Life is the pits. Sorry about the phone but glad it has been recovered and will be returned soon.
Your blogs are great but sometimes we want to hear your cute little voices, so we're standing by for the return of the phone.
May God be with you all, stay safe, and remember your family will always be here for you.
